On the afternoon of April 15th, Mr. Kai Ji, an educator for Chinese piano performance, was invited to present a wonderful academic lecture on piano for the Chinese Academy of the Lincoln Chinese Cultural Association. Not only did the students, their parents and teachers, but also numerous music enthusiasts in the Lincoln area attend. Based on his own decades of piano performance art, Mr. Kai Ji presented the key in piano performance lies in the interpretation of piano music and the differences between Chinese and American piano education to his audience. He also provided meticulous guidance and explanation of those piano music pieces which the children were practicing for their upcoming piano exams.Mr. Kai Ji’s profound artistic accomplishments, rich experience in performance, superb performing techniques and humorous language left a deep impression on the parents and children present. With his fingers jumping on the black-and-white keyboard and the graceful melody he brought, every audience in the stadium was immersed in pleasure. His wonderful presentation delighted and benefited all that attended.
Note: Mr. Kai Ji is a famous Chinese piano educator. He studied piano performance at the Central College of Music at childhood, which laid a solid foundation for his future professional development. In 2006, he was sent to the world famous music school – Gnessin Music Institute to study piano playing and obtained a Master’s Degree with outstanding grades. He has won major prizes in international piano competitions in Germany and Russia. He also won a solo silver medal and a gold medal for four-hands piano duet in a piano competition, held by the Chinese Musicians’ Association. Mr. Ji has been invited to hold many high-level recitals at home and abroad. His students also have won awards at numerous domestic and international piano competitions.

4月15日下午，中国钢琴演奏教育家纪凯先生应邀为林肯华协中文学校举办了一场精彩的钢琴学术讲座，参加人数众多，不仅有学校师生家长还得到众多林肯音乐爱好者的广泛参与。
纪凯先生结合自己几十年的钢琴演奏艺术生涯，为大家介绍了钢琴演奏重在对作品音乐的诠释，中美钢琴教育的不同等问题，也为孩子们即将参加钢琴考级的作品进行了精心的指导和讲解。纪凯先生高深的艺术造诣、丰富的演奏经历、精湛的表演技术、幽默诙谐的语言表达给在场的家长和孩子们都留下了极为深刻的印象。他那在黑白键盘上娴熟跳跃的十指以及优美的旋律使在场的每位观众都身心愉悦，精彩的讲座让大家受益匪浅。
附:纪凯先生是中国著名钢琴演奏教育家，自幼于中央音乐学院附小学习钢琴演奏为今后的专业发展奠定了坚实的基础，2006年由国家公派赴世界著名音乐学府格涅辛音乐学院学习钢琴演奏专业并以优异的成绩获得硕士学位。曾于德国、俄罗斯等国际钢琴比赛中获得大奖，也于中国音协举办的高校教师组钢琴比赛获得独奏银奖，四手联弹组金奖。纪老师曾经受邀举办多场国内外高水平独奏音乐会，所教授的学生也于众多国内外钢琴比赛中获奖。
