LCCA third Children Talent Show
LCCA third Children Talent Show will be held on August 23rd (Saturday) at 2:00pm at UNL City Campus Union, Auditorium Room on the second floor. The registration for this event opens until August 17th. To register, please send an email to LCCA@live.com indicating child(ren)’s name, grade in fall 2014, show category (instrument playing, singing, dancing, martial arts, drawing, calligraphy, drama, etc.). All eligible children are welcome to showcase their talent. It had been a fun event for children and parents. The photos of past Children Talent Show are on LCCA website www.thelcca.org.

Below are the rules –
· Children in grades K-12 as of Fall, 2014 are eligible to participate. Children can participate in more than one show, as long as the shows are in different category.
· Registration is $2 for each child each show. This fee is waived for children of LCCA 2014 family members
· Contents relating to Chinese culture are strongly encouraged and will be reflected on scoring criteria. All shows will be judged by presentation and skills. Judges will use detailed scoring sheet, which will be available at the time of the event.
· Solo performances are preferred
· All performances should be 2 – 5 minutes
· Final award categories will be determined based on the number of contestants
